Day 1: Let's Start a Business in 30 Days

Do you have an idea for a business but you're too scared to start?

I'm starting this blog to coach you so you can start a business in 30 days. Mark this as day 1 of launching your business. For day 1, let's narrow down your idea and your market.

So pull out a piece of paper or open your computer and write the following:

#1 My idea for a business is.... <fill in the blank>.

#2 My target market for the business is <fill in the blank. Note details such as income level, gender, where do they live, etc.>

#3 Who are your competitors?

#4 Why are services different from competitors?

#5 Why would your market buy from you and not your competitors?

#6 What's your cost of doing business? This would include your overhead, materials and equipment, staffing that you need to do the business.

Take your time filling this out. Research your competition and their rates. But don't over think this process or scare yourself out of your idea. This will help you refine your idea or kill it at this point.
